Jim Cramer's Mad Money "Good
Morning Vietnam"
01/05/06
The lead segment for today's show
was "Good morning, Vietnam".
Jim's pick is a Vietnamese bank
today, the Australian & New Zealand Banking Group Limited
(ANZ).
An undervalued Biotech stock
This isn't about good drugs, just
a ridiculously cheap stock. Progenics Pharm (PGNX) is a
ridiculously cheap drug with an interesting drug. MNTX is a drug
which treats the side effects of painkillers like morphine.
There is a good chance the MNTX could be a widely prescribed
drug.
After a deal with Wyeth, this
company is awash in cash. PGNX also has some good cancer drugs.
This is a cheap biotech stock. Jim says you would be foolish not
to take a look at this stock.
Jim versus Greenberg
TakeTwo
Interactive Software (TTW0)
a good buy? Jim versus Greenberg. Jim says buy, Greenberg
says no way.
Am Italian Pasta Co. (PLB)?
Greenberg says watch out for Barilla and this stock is not a
good bet. Jim roughly agrees and sells sell.
Johnson
Controls (JCI)
Both say sell.
Samurai Stocks
Kyocera
Corp (KYO)
will go up as interest in Japan picks up. This is the right time
in the Japanese expansion to own this company, plus their solar
aspect is a hidden value. This is a good cyclical stock to own
right now, as KYO is in the second year of its cycle of economic
expansion. This is a buy. Jim still thinks; however, that solar
power is still the key to this stock. Currently they have $900
million in solar sales.
