Jim Cramer's Mad Money show is one of my favorites, even though I don't do much investing. Have you done any investing using Jim's Mad Money investment advice?

Jim Cramer's Mad Money is a show that I watch on CNBC. I try to cover the highlights of Cramer's Mad Money show, including his Lightning Round picks. 

This is not investment advice, this is simply a recap of Jim Cramer's Mad Money picks. I also do not cover all of Jim's background on every stock that he picks, but I do include some links to the companies that Jim picks.

The lead segment for today's show was "Corn Fed: Making Money off of Ethanol".
The President has been on the ethanol bandwagon now for some time. Currently, more ethanol means more corn. In order to grow more corn, more agricultural equipment is needed. The big players have already been played, that's why Jim is suggesting AGCO Corp. (AG) and Gehl Co (GEHL). Right now, this is the way to make money off of ethanol.  (More)

04/25/06 Class in Session: Michigan
The lead segment for today's show was "Class In Session: Michigan".
The shoe bull market is still going. That's why Jim thinks you should buy Wolverine World Wide Inc. (WWW). They have some good products and they just had a great quarter. Thus, there will probably be a pullback and this will be your opportunity to buy. (More)

The lead segment for today's show was "Sub Stance: How to Profit from the Chinese Defense Build Up".
The Chinese are building up their submarine program and soon their sub numbers could outnumber the U.S.. That's why Jim is suggesting General Dynamics Corp. (GD) because they make submarine killers. This is the way to make money off of the Chinese defense buildup. (More)

04/20/06 Getting Lucky
The lead segment for today's show was "Getting Lucky: Making Money off of the Lottery".
Several European local governments have hired Scientific Games (SGMS) to run their lotteries. Even more important, this company also was just added to the S & P Mid Cap 400, which is always extremely good according to Jim's analytics. (More)

04/19/06 Playing Favorites
The lead segment for today's show was "Playing Favorites: Making Money off of the Halliburton Split".
Jim has always liked King Hal and he even mentioned it when he was on the Jay Leno Show. Now that Halliburton is going to split into two companies, Jim thinks Halliburton Co. (HAL) is a huge buy. Jim says he's done the homework and you can just buy on his word. (More)

04/18/06 Jet Set
The lead segment for today's show was "Jet Set: Making Money off of the Airlines".
Cramer hates the airline industry, especially with oil prices above $70.00. Still, Jim thinks there is a play in airlines, but it is not in the U.S.. Thus, Jim suggests GOL LINHAS AEREAS INTELIGENTES (GOL) because the competition against this company is being wiped out, and they will be the only airline left standing in South America. (More)

04/17/06 Maximum Minerals (Replay)
The lead segment for today's show was "Maximum Minerals: Making Money of the Bull Market of Mineral Extraction".Today, Jim wants to take a broad look at the market by looking at a trend, the bull market in mineral extraction. Much of the interest in this bull market comes from America, but the real boom is in BRIC (Brazil, Russian, India, and China) companies. This bull market is really being driven by BRIC.

04/10/06 Rigging the Odds
The lead segment for today's show was "Rigging the Odds: Making money off of the shortage in oil rigs."
High oil prices have renewed interest in Indonesian oil field exploration. The problem; however, is a lack of oil rigs. That's why Jim loves National Oilwell Varco Inc. (NOV). This is the best way to invest in high oil prices. This stock, Jim believes is worth at least $77 and at $66, then back up the truck. (More)

The lead segment for today's show was "Flower Power: 1-800-Flowers.com Inc."
1-800-Flowers.com Inc. (FLWS) is a company that makes massive amounts of money on the Internet, and that offers cheap stock, great growth, and an excellent business plan. They sell flowers, candies, and now they can sell wine based on a lawsuit they just won. (More)

04/06/06 Catching Some ZZ's
The lead segment for today's show was "Catching some ZZZ's: Making Money off of the Sealy IPO".
Jim has another IPO for you, Sealy (ZZ). Jim says you can pay up to $18.00 for this stock, which Cramer says is worth up to $20.00.  (More)

04/05/06 Brush Hour
The lead segment for today's show was "Brush Hour: Making Money off of Beryllium".
Jim says the next titanium is beryllium and that is why you should buy Brush Engineered Materials, Inc. (BW) because they have the only major mine for Beryllium. This is a good telco and computer parts company, but it's the aerospace and defense play that makes Brush hot. (More)

04/04/06 Smart Drink
The lead segment for today's show was "Smart Drink: Making Money off of Energy Drinks".
National Beverage Crop (FIZ) is the next Hansen's according to Jim. Cramer thinks this is a huge growth story because of the energy drink "Rip It". This is an energy drink investment because energy drinks are hot right now. Why "Rip It"? Because it has immense growth potential. Use limit orders and do not pay more than $12.00. (More)

04/03/06 Topps of the Heap
The lead segment for today's show was "Topps of the Heap: Making money off of baseball".
Topps Co Inc. (TOPP) is a nice buy to start off the baseball season. This stock is very cheap right now and any catalyst could lead to Mad Money. With an excellent balance sheet, the downside is very limited, but the upside holds great potential states Jim. (More)

03/31/06 Drill Instructor
The lead segment for today's show was "Drill Instructor: Making Money off of Oil Drillers".
Seitel Inc. (SELA.OB) is a bulletin board stock, which Jim normally doesn't like. Nonetheless, Jim likes this stock because of the oil situation. Seitel provides the best seismic data for oil drillers and the company has good earnings data. (More)

03/30/06 Watch and Learn
The lead segment for today's show was "Watch and Learn: Making Money off of Movado".
Movado Group Inc. (MOV) is an expensive watch company. Jim believes this company has growth written all over it. Also, Movado just signed a big deal with LaCoste, which Jim likes and he also thinks Movado could be huge in China. (More)

03/29/06 Thinking Mid Cap
The lead segment for today's show was "Thinking Mid Cap: Making money off the S & P 400 Mid Cap Trend".
Roper Industries Inc. (ROP) is a diversified industrial stock that just joined the S&P 400 MidCap. Jim and TheStreet.com believe there is a trend of sustained, gradual growth for companies added the S&P Mid Cap, plus this is a solid company. (More)

03/28/06 Bringing Home the Bacon
The lead segment for today's show was "Bringing Home the Bacon: Making Money off of Bird Flu".
There should be some good pin action off of bird flu once it hits American poultry, which is why Jim thinks you should buy SmithField Foods Inc. (SFD), a great pork company. (More)

03/27/06 Cream of the Crop
The lead segment for today's show was "Cream of the Crop: Making Money off of Ethanol".
Right now ethanol is getting lots of hype and some big money is getting poured into the bull market in ethanol. That's why Jim likes Andersons Inc (ANDE). This stock is risky due to low volume, so USE LIMIT ORDERS. Anderson operates grain elevators, which will be in high demand as ethanol gets bigger. Additionally, ANDE is building a a huge ethanol plant, and they have a great rail business. (More)

03/24/06 It's in the Blood
The lead segment for today's show was "It's in the Blood".
Diabetes is a huge problem in America and the next great medical device for treating diabetes is going to come from Dexcom, Inc. (DXCM) according to Jim. DXCM offers a continuous glucose monitoring system that should make DXCM the next big thing in diabetes care. (More)

03/23/06 Fishin' For Chips
The lead segment for today's show was "Fishin' For Chips".
Jim says it's hard to make money off of technology, at least it isn't as easy as it used to be. Still, there are great opportunities and that is why Jim wants you to buy Sirf Technology Holdings (SIRF), which is a GPS technology leader. The market for GPS technology is huge and Jim thinks this is a great GPS technology stock. (More)

03/22/06 A Juicy Store
The lead segment for today's show was "A Juicy Story".
Services Acquisition Corp. International (SVI) just bought Jamba Juice. Jamba is a great brand with great management, great revenues, good margins, and great growth potential. Jim reminds you, please use limit orders. (More)

03/21/06 Word is Bond
The lead segment for today's show was "Word is Bond".
America's huge debt means one thing: Invest in Moody's (MCO) because it has great earnings and growth in a non-competitive industry. Plus, Warren Buffet likes it, so Jim says buy. (More)

03/20/06 Know Your IPO
The lead segment for today's show was "Know Your IPO".
Jim thinks the Tim Hortons (THI) IPO will be hot and Jim thinks you should buy. Jim says you can always judge an IPO by its road show. The headcount at the road show for this IPO was huge. (More)

The lead segment for today's show was "Takeover Talk: Making Money off of Acquisitions".
O.K., so you heard L'Oreal bought Body Shop Today. So, how can you make money off of it? What other takeovers might follow? (More)

03/16/06 Clearing the Air
The lead segment for today's show was "Clearing the Air: Understanding the sentiment behind a tainted stock".
Jim says you have to understand the sentiment behind hated stocks to truly understand a stock. One such stock, which Jim thinks you should buy is Brocade Communications Systems (BRCD). This company's stock lost over a $100.00 in value per share and people hate it for this reason. But this company is about to report good numbers in May, according to Jim. Because of the bull market in network storage, BRCD is going to do well. They are strong in network switches and other network storage device technology, which makes BRCD a great network storage stock play. (More)

03/15/06 Patriot Profits
The lead segment for today's show was "Patriot Profits:"So, how can we make money off of the Patriot Act? Nice Systems (NICE) has analytics that organize massive amounts of data from a variety of data feeds. They have a line of "lawful interception" products. NICE technology is also good for command and control systems and is the only VOIP play Jim endorses. NICE records VOIP conversations for quality monitoring and customer service. As VOIP grows in business, so to will NICE services.

03/13/06 High in Fiber
The lead segment for today's show was "High in Fiber".
Jim thinks there is a bull market in optical communications and wants you to buy Avanex Corp. (AVNX). AVNX is another two dollar, cheap fiber optic network stock. So why is AVNX a winner? Because carriers are spending lots of money on new optical networks to compete with cable companies, the companies that make components for fiber optic networks will make a lot of money. That's where AVNX comes in. This fiber optic bull market should follow an 18 month cycle. When this cycle is over, the Avanex trade is over. (More)

03/10/06 Stocks on Sale
The lead segment for today's show was "Stocks on Sale".
Jim is going to be thematic, focusing on when a stock pulls back and becomes an opportunity to back the truck up. Jim wants to teach us how to trade these kinds of stocks. Other than today, the market took a hit this week. Now is the time to separate winners from losers. Jim says the way tell the difference is by finding companies that reported great numbers their last quarter, shot up, but dropped because the whole market was down. Jim has 3 such stocks. (More)

03/09/06 Getting Defensive
The lead segment for today's show was "Getting Defensive: Making money off of port and homeland security".
If you want a good port security stock, OSI Systems Inc. (OSIS) is it. This is a small company with great technology to help make our ports safe, in addition they have a nice health care business they acquired from antitrust litigation. OSIS's Rapiscan products are used to scan cargo, people, baggage, etc. and OSIS has some new security scanning products in the works. (More)

03/08/06 It's a Steal
The lead segment for today's show was "It's a steal: Making money off of identity theft".
Identity theft is a growing problem and a great way to make money off of this problem is Intersections Inc. (INTX). INTX creates software for protecting and monitoring ID theft. Intersection can help those who have suffered ID theft resolve this issue much faster. While this company did screw up a few months ago, according to Cramer, by totally missing their numbers; however, the last quarter was a great quarter for INTX. Plus, there are no analysts following this stock, which has left this company completely off of the radar. Don't buy after this identity theft stock after hours Jim warns, you WILL GET RIPPED OFF. So, use limit orders. (More)

03/07/06 Infrared Cameras
The lead segment for today's show was "Seeing Red: Infrared Cameras and Security Devices".
We live in the era of Security and Surveillance and FLIR Systems (FLIR) is going to win a lot of the money from the government's security and surveillance programs. They make some great infrared and thermal imaging devices, such as cameras and scanners, in addition to night vision and infrared signature detection equipment. Additionally, Jim thinks FLIR could also benefit greatly from the Dubai Ports deal, which Jim believes will ultimately occur. (More)

03/06/06 Under the Radar
The lead segment for today's show was "Under the Radar: Making money off of the shortage of radiologists in America".
Jim likes orphaned stocks, stocks which analysts stop following, because they can make you a lot of money. One such stock is Nighthawk Radiology, (NWHK). There are simply no analysts covering this stock. Nighthawk services nighttime radiology services for about 13% of American hospitals. This service is much cheaper than keeping a radiologist around during off-peak hours. Since there is a shortage of radiologists in America, 13% is nowhere near saturation - Jim believes - there could be a lot of accelerated revenue growth for this company. (More)

The lead segment for today's show was "Go With the I-Flow".
I-Flow Group (IFLO) is a company that has a great concept. Two weeks ago Jim thought this was a great medical device company with great products, but the stock was too high. Well, the company missed their quarter and the stock price has dropped. This panic selling is your opportunity to buy (More)

03/02/06 Number One With a Ballot
The lead segment for today's show was "Number One With a Ballot".
Cramer suggests reading the front page of the New York Times, not just the business section. The front page of the Times ran a story about how the Feds are suing New York for not upgrading their voting machines. Cramer thinks that only Diebold, Inc. (DBD) can solve this problem and this problem isn't only a problem for New York, but many other states.  This is long term investment story. (More)

03/01/06 The Rite Stuff
The lead segment for today's show was "The Rite Stuff".
Rite Aid Corp. (RAD) is not Best of Breed, not even close. So, Jim is breaking his rules by suggesting this company. Nonetheless, because of the bull market in pharmacies, Jim is suggesting Rite Aid, because it can make you money. Goldman Sachs gave RAD an outperform. Additionally, Medicare Part D, generic drugs, etc. pharmacies are going to win big. Rite Aid is cheap and finally has positive same store sales growth and this could spur growth. (More)

The lead segment for today's show was "Buzz Worthy: Using Trade Magazines such as PR Week to Make Money".
Jim is suggesting PR Week, and trade magazines in general, as ways to gain intel for investment opportunities. In PR Week Jim found an interesting article on how small biotechs should use strategic partnerships to gain exposure. (More)

The lead segment for today's show was "Get the Lead Out: Sherwin Williams Co - Making Money off of Bogus lawsuits".Bogus lawsuits can put terrific companies on sale. This is what happened to Sherwin-Williams Co. (SHW). This is a best of breed company. Jim says this lead paint lawsuit probably won't stand up, and if it does it won't cost as much as some think. Panic selling is driving this sell-off and that's why Jim thinks you should buy this company tomorrow morning. (More)

The lead segment for today's show was "If the shoe fits: Crocs, Inc.".
Jim says buy Crocs, Inc. (CROX), which just went public last week. This is a hot company right now, but the stock isn't living up to the hype. Jim thinks this stock is simply suffering from the horrible week the market suffered last week. Eventually, Jim believes, this stock will trade at $35.00. (MORE)

02/14/06 Tools of the Trade
The lead segment for today's show was "Tools of the Trade: Making Money off of Drug Development".
Caliper Life Sciences, Inc. (CALP) makes the tools to develop new drugs. Big pharma can't continue to make money unless they are developing new drugs. CALP just bought Xenogen, which Jim says is a great buy. This is a great stock to buy in small increments over the next few months. (MORE)

02/13/06 Fat of the Land
The lead segment for today's show was "Fat of the Land: Cashing in on obesity".The best way to make money off of obesity is weight-loss drugs. Thus, Jim says buy Arena Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (ARNA). They are in Phase 3 with their new weight drug, APD356.  Jim says this drugs is Fen-Phen without the heart attacks. Also, working on in incredible diabetes drug. Currently at 15.00, could easily hit $20.00 by the end of the year.

The new Medicare plan is big for dialysis players. That's why Jim is picking Fresenius Medical (FME.GR). Again buy this directly off of the German exchange. Because the government is paying more for dialysis, this company could win big. (MORE)

The lead segment for today's show was "Sharp Pain: Making Money off treating pain".
Pain Therapeutics, Inc. (PTIE) is in the cutting edge of pain treatments with their abuse resistant opiates. This company has plenty of cash and their are few downsides. And if there painkiller works, they have huge upside. (MORE)

02/08/06 Arms and the Plan: Profiting off of the Defense Budget
The lead segment for today's show was "Arms and the Plan: Making Money off of the Defense Budget".Jim thinks to make money off of the Defense Budget, companies will have to specialize in future combat systems. Therefore, Cramer suggests buying EDO Corp. (EDO) and Axsys Technologies, Inc. (AXYS).EDO makes a lot of equipment for unmanned aircraft and has grown 40% since 1999. Axsys makes thermal imaging devices.

Still, Jim thinks options are very risky and should only be played by professionals. Still, Jim thinks you can make money off of options by playing the options traders. 02/06/06 Up and Atom: Making Money off of Nuclear Power
The lead segment for today's show was "Up and Atom: Making Money off of Nuclear Power".
Because there is a global resurgence in nuclear power, Jim thinks you should buy Areva (CEI.FP). Once again, skip the pink sheets and buy off of the Paris exchange. Earnings are expected to rise 20% this year for Areva, a leader in MOX, the feed for most nuclear reactors. MOX production should up significantly for Areva this year to meet growing French demand and world demand. (MORE)

02/03/06 It's in the game: Electronic Arts
The lead segment for today's show was "It's in the Game: Electronic Arts".Everybody in the press is down on Electronic Arts Inc. (ERTS) right now. ERTS is the best of breed video maker. The biggest video game cycle in history is just starting, but it really won't pick up until late 2006. Everybody is waiting for a safe entry point right now. Don't wait, buy now, and if it drops, buy more while it's down.

The lead segment for today's show was "In the Flesh: Lifecell Corp.".
Lifecell Corp (LIFC) has a revolutionary product that uses real skin rather than pig skin for replacing damaged skin, which should have a huge effect on earnings. Life cell expects about 33% sales growth per year, which Jim thinks is incredible, but might even be conservative. (MORE)

02/01/06 Class in Session: Buy the Bookham
The lead segment for today's show was "Class in Session: Buy the Bookham".Need a cheap stock? How about Bookham, Inc. (BKHM)? Cramer thinks this stock could double. This company has finally gotten its balance sheets in order. Plus, the company is a takeover target. (MORE)
